Is Google Translation Accurate?
I was tasked by my client to a write a 350 word count article on the world’s seven wonders for my extra output. I was only given a day to have it completely written however I’m aware I will run out of time.
I imagined of a thought of what to write but I’m doubtful on where to start.
I first created a draft with many of lapses, also a little bit on sentence and grammar order. To make it easier for me, I set up first everything in Filipino then I pasted the whole article in the Google translation.
Actually at first, I was having second thought in using Google translation because I have plenty of questions like “Is Google translate accurate?” “Is it really useful and easy to use?”. However, I’ve heard a lot of positive things from my fellow writer that Google translation is extremely helpful though it does not yield an accurate result because most of the time, the translation is done word by word and not by context.
An hour before the day ended, I was done writing the article. I have written the final output with images and captions. What ate up most of my time was actually the research that I’ve done since I don’t have enough information about the topic, but still, I was able to make it close to perfect. Thanks to Google translation, it was such a big help.
